Familiarity can sometimes lead us to overlook or take for granted what is right in front of us. Humans often perceive the world as a resource to be controlled, yet various circumstances remind us that we are merely a small, fragile species—vulnerable to countless forces beyond our control. At times, we must learn to listen to the echoes of the environment or the voices of things that have never spoken.
